We would like to inform you about scheduled maintenance (inspection) on the electrical boards and lighting systems at our NL1 data center in Meppel. This planned work is part of our regular upkeep and is not expected to impact the availability of your services.

Netwerk Serverius: Unexpected dark fiber cut between Dronten and Nikhef (DC1)

You are receiving notification as Serverius has an unexpected dark fiber cut between Dronten and Nikhef.

Location: Nikhef, Amsterdam, NL – Serverius DC1, Dronten, NL Service Type: Dark fiber

Start: 24-09-2021 13:40:00 CEST End: unknown Duration: unknown

Reason: Unknown. We contacting our supplier of this dark fiber.

This outage is impacting the following dark fiber circuits: SDC1, Dronten < – > Nikhef, Amsterdam

Expected Outage: is expected downtime of DWDM channels from the Serverius DC1, Dronten to the Nikhef, Amsterdam only. None expected outage for IP transit service, other dark fibers will automatically take over the data traffic, but there is a small chance for high latency and short time packet loss in the time of rebuild routing tables.
